Well I dont post much on this site but I use the hell out of it when I do my research and it certainly has learned me a thing or two from my 5.0 swap to my future dana 30 or 44 swap(which ever I decide), Im having problems with my front end suspension and the dana 35(I upgrade when problems arise)... I just wanted to check in since I havent done so since late 2009. My swap was added to the tech library after I was finished and it shows pretty good information involving the swap.. I will probably ask to update It a tad bit because I did change some things since the swap. And I still need to fix a few minor things(im taking care of that when I do the front axle swap). Im really considering a tubular transmission crossmember. Since the swap, even though I retained my BW 4wd transfercase, I am unable to reinstall my front drive shaft so Ive been without 4wd since the swap :(... But that involves welding and I havent really had anytime to take care of that issue(doesnt really bother me). When i did the 5.0 swap, I decided to stick with my ranger radiator and add an e-fan(taurus). It worked but I was noticing the 5.0 was running a bit hot and in the summer of AZ I would notice my temp gage climb(never overheat) and my AC would get hot when I was stopped untill the fan kicked on(that got annoying). So i ditched that setup this year and picked up an explorer radiator AND put the mechanical fan back on the motor. I notice some drag to the motor but it doesnt bother me just as long as my truck is running at an optimal temp and my AC worked at all times even when Im at a light or a drive thru. The motor 2 years and some change has been PERFECT well almost. The tranny/motor had about 98k miles on it when I bought it and now have about 134k now. Ive only encounter one problem since the swap: a bad coolant leak from the bypass hose. EASY(well not really) fix but I got it. This is when I did the radiator swap since I had to pretty much fill the entire system with coolant(not cheap) so might as well take care of that so I dont have to buy more coolant later on. Ive been on a few 1000+ mile road trips with this truck and had ZERO issues with the motor. The 5.0 has certainly exceeded all my expectations and Im very pleased(money well spent). I just wish Ford would have included the V8 in the rangers. oh well. Anyway, aside from the motor swap, the only thing Ive done since the swap was a rear mustang disc brake swap to my 8.8 rear end(pics will be included below), radiator swap mentione above(pics below), added rear mud flaps(AZ law, not by choice), and also swaped to an F-250 Brake Master Cylinder. Ok Im done talking, here are the pics. Enjoy:

Looks very nice man. Clean swap, and the disc swap looks perfectly done.

How is the rear bias using the F250 M/C?

I have a v8 5.0L in my 2000 ranger and I was just wondering what size radiator you used because my truck has been running toasty and summer hasn't even started. That is a beautiful truck though. The engine looks like it barely fits lol.
