Some folks are saying for use as limb risers as seen below. Helps keep branches off the windshield on tight brushy trails...

The 3.0 powerstroke isn't that big and weighs 501lbs so possible. the 3.5 EcoBoost is the f150 favorite and the 5.0 Coyote is not likely since car companies like to disappoint but was listed in that paperwork found at that dealership.

It is too bad Ford didn't protect the box with square windows thing from the early Broncos so Jeep couldn't have copied it.

Well when you benchmark a particular vehicle your finished product tends to have similar proportions.

I'm guessing front independent suspension on the Bronco making it a less desirable offroad vehicle purchase option...making the D28 in the Rangers and Bronco 2's not so bad afterall LOL.

Anyone know for sure on the front ends in the Bronco yet?

I'd take a stock D44 TTB over a Jeep solid axle or current independent suspension anyday. Better wheel travel than both, and no death wobble.

Not a chance. TTB has been dead for 20+ years.

So probably an IFS setup then I'd assume. I can't imagine Ford ever doing a solid axle front end under any of their SUV's ever again, or not even a hybrid type of any sort either. Would this be a cost savings deal combined with the majority of buyers being of the type that probably may do extremely light "offroading" maybe a gravel road occasionally or similar?

My grandmother's Ford mini van spent more time offroad than most of these jeeps when it wouldn't pass inspection any more I beat the back wheels off literally off rocks and jumps

I used to go up north quite regularly to go fishing or whatever. Used to take my old 94 E150 Mark III hightop conversion...

Had a set of A/T's on it and i gurantee that thing spent more time wheeling down logging and seasonal roads then 98% of jeeps do these days.
