Hi all. So I have a question, I know that my 2008 ranger has no cabin air filter, is there any way to mod/replace the blower and housing so that it can take one? Does the Mazda version of this truck have one, and if so, can that whole assembly be swapped in for the rangers, or does some company make replacement assemblies with one? Any help would be appreciated.

No, mazda doesn't use one and no one makes one. You can buy little air filter gizmos for cars that plug into the cigarette lighter but there is no simple way to add a cabin air filter to a ranger.

Damn. Oh well. Such is life. I was hoping that there would be a blower housing from some other vehicle that would fit that has one. such is life. I recall the explorer has one, any chance that would fit and mount?

Explorers of that era arent ranger clones, all that stuff is different and would not just swap in and out. If you had a scrap explorer laying around and alot of time maybe you could retro fit something but I just dont see it being worth it to make a custom dash just to stick a paper filter over your air vents...

Even if you suffer from bad allergies or something there are other, easier, more effective ways to deal with that.
