messed up my intake

i jacked up my intake real good when i tried to pull it off the throttle body. it tore about an inch, inch and a half hole in it. right now duck tape seals the deal but i dont want to spend $137 on a new factory intake. i want a k&n but 289 is pretty steep too. unfortunately i need a carb approved intake for cali. anyone seen any good deals or have any suggestions?

thats what i was thinking. i work for toyota and our parts guy said he could call some of the bigger nationwide yards for me tomorrow and see what he finds. one thing i was wondering though is if the 4.0 intake is the same as the 3.0? i've never seen anything on it. is there a big size difference?

you know... i have both and never compared the layout under the hood so i couldn't tell you...

i got a 4.0 throttle body spacer for free today but once again, idk if it will fit. only one way to find out..
