Just curious if there are aftermarket manual steering boxes for late model Rangers/B2300's

If so, can you point me in their direction?

Thanks

I've seen FACTORY set ups, 96 4x2 manual steering and manual brakes, haven't seen one since. An earlier ranger manual steering box would bolt to the frame in any later ttb or tib ranger, input shaft may be an issue though.

Rangers had steering boxes until 1997. 1998 and newer trucks have a rack and pinion set up. Rangers always had a manual steering option when they were equipped with boxes. It was never an option with rack and pinion. It would be easy to swap to a manual box on a 97 or older truck, but would require some custom work on a rack and pinion equipped one. I don't see the point however and imo, not worth it.

Whats the reasonin for it???

I put a MS box on my 94 & my Son's 93 for exhaust clearance reasons, but with a R&P shouldn't be any clearance issues.

Shoot me a PM & I'll let ya in on an idea I've got.
