leaning to the left

so i just noticed the other day that my truck seems to be leaning to the left a little. i was wondering what might be wrong with it that would cause that to happen. seems to be more in the back than the front? any ideas or things to look at?

Think of where the gas tank is in these trucks. There is a lot of weight on the drivers side.

New springs or live with it.

Heh. You own a old ranger! Unless the suspension has been replaced it gets tired on the left side. They ALL lean to the left.

The "Ford lean" as it were... Both my Explorers were like that... not my Ranger though. Not anymore!

its the ranger "ganster lean". Every one i've seen or owned from the 80's does it worse than newer vehicles. I thought i read somewhere that it is due to the frame, i only believe that vs. worn out springs ect because i swapped my springs from one side to the other and it still leans to the left. A buddy of mine bought brand new springs from a drive train shop here in denver and his still leans. on my truck it was just leaning in the back but now the whole driver side is leaning- my body bushing is comming though the floor pan these days

I have a 2000 4x4 xlt off road and I was looking to do a tbar torque. I noticed that the tb bolts were turned in at different lengths, anyone have tha same prob. The driver's side is turned in way more than the passenger side!!!

Gas tank, battery and driver are on the same side....it's left front heavy and they lean. The coils have the same spring rate side and the same initial height, so swapping them side to side may not work. Throw a spacer in, or get stiffer coils if it bugs ya, but other then that it's just a normal ranger thing.

Mine don't lean, but I want to do a t bar crank and the driver tbar bolt is turned way in already.

Thats because it's already been adjusted to make it sit level, cranking the tbars is like adding a spacer on a ttb truck.

you'd think mine was use to being upside down then, cuz mine leans to the right!!!!!! maybe its cuz of the HUGE battery on the passenger side! haha

Hell, I just remembered I thought my suspension was messed up before I got my F150 springs under mine cause it leaned to the passenger side a little. It's amazing the things you forget. I guess it really didn't bother me as much as I thought.
