Hey everyone. I have a 95 extra cab and the body seam on the back lower part of the cab is leaking. Is there anything special I need to do so I can seal this up?

Everythign I have seen online says to clean out all the old sealant then reseal it with new sealant. I hope its that easy but I wanted to check here first.

When you dig out the old sealant you most likely will run into rust. So that will have to be dealt with before re-sealing it.
