I rocked TTB for a bit with an FSB/6" lift. I did a tie rod flip. My argument for the Tie Rod Flip is that it not only helps align the drag link and tie rod with the axle, but it also gets them up out of the way and is less expensive than a new drop pitman arm. I believe it to be a better way to get the tie rods in-line with the TTB than a drop pitman arm.
I see knuckle inserts with tapers available now. The inserts allows you to use a regular drill bit to drill-out the knuckles and then drop in the inserts. :icon_thumby: What do you think? Are Ranger TRE's the same as used on the Dana44 TTB?

RBV TREs are the same, however they are already on top. Was a good thought though :) (and is what I did when I did my TTB D44 many years ago).
