Well I already have a D30HP w/ matching gears. So I guess I have a start. It has the smaller U-Joints & CAD. But I'm ok with that, I'm looking at doing a D30HP or D35TTB as a build up/project with no time frame. I live for this stuff.
All you have to do is swap the shafts and plug the CAD BS to move to the good shafts. I would do a D30 over a D35TTB, if you ever decide to move to a bigger axle IE a D60 most of what you need is already there.

Also the CAD axle housing is stronger too as it is made of cast and not thin welded metal on the housing, like what I have, not that it has given me any problems.

Also when changing a CAD to a non CAD, you will need the shaft seal for in the diff. housing, means pulling the diff. out but thats no biggy.

For me it costed me about $1300 to put mine under my truck and I got my coils, gears, and axle for free. What costed the most was I decided to run longarms but didnt build them myself. Other then that running stock steering linkage, trackbar, CV axles.

Good part about running longarms, you can make them work on a D44, D60, etc...
