I'm thinking of gutting the interiour of all carpet. And replacing it with some rhino liner. Has any one done it? Also I'd like to drop the bucket seats out of my cougar into the BII. Will they fit? If not what do I have to do to make them fit?

Different topic. But I'm looking to get into some local 4x4 clubs and man are they picky! The requirments and hoops you have to jump through. To even be at the stage to get voted in to there club are nutz. I'm sure worth it in the end. But wow! I think its easier applying for a home loan. I'll have to dig around a bit and find the right club for me or at least one that will take me. Are most clubs like this?

Have not done it in a BII, but I have done it in a 4-runner, makes cleaning up mud very easy!

What year is the cougar?

Alright going off topic again. I've been thinking about lifts. And have realy come to like the chev. rear leaf spring mod cheap but a good one. I come from a mudding back ground. And have seen the bad side of running lift blocks!

So I gues how much lift would you get out of the chev. leafs? And what do you match the front with? What would your suggestions be if I ran this route?

I will be starting this weekend in gutting my cougar and the bronco. And will try installing the cougar seats in the b2. And let you know how it turns out.

Herculiner

I used herculiner and I must say this is by far the best thing I've done to my truck. I just pull the grommets and wash all the mud, dirt, and sediments out when I clean the truck out.

What method did you use for getting down to bare metal? Grinder, sander, paint remover, sand blaster, excetera? I know you necessarily don't have to, could have just roughed up the paint. But it is a great Idea starting from scratch clean serface.

I scrapped all the sticky sound proofing material up with a putty knife. Then I went back with a wire wheel on a drill over the entire surface to be herculined. After that whipped it all down with mineral spirits. After it was completely dry I applied the herculiner. It's been 2 to 3 years and I haven't had a single problem with the herculiner coming up.
