ok this just happened 4 days ago. when i start the truck it idles ok for a minute or two but if i let it sit the RPMs drop and if i have it in gear and am waiting at the light long enough it sometimes shuts off. it runs fine while driving but not idling. i changed the plugs and checked all the wiring around the motor. i live in va and the weather isnt that cold until today so i dont think it is the weather. could it be the fuel filter or injectors or something else? please let me know what you think

More likely the filter than the injectors. Change the fuel filter and go from there.
