Hi guys! It's been a while, but it's been fun.

I've started a new job driving a school bus, but over last weekend, I entered my Ranger into the local Kwanis car show.

Sadly, my (possibly) one of-a-kind 2.3 with factory 4x4 didn't win any prizes, but a nice older gentelmen snapped some REALLY nice pics of it. Other people were surprised to see that I had the cajones to enter the thing in a field with Corvettes, other classic trucks, and some nice old vintage iron.

I had fun, the entry fee went to support a good local cause, and the weather was PERFECT!!!

Awesome! I think you woulda won prizes if you took the topper off! Those car show snobs are picky about matching colors!

Now. It was a car show for charity.

The truck MIGHT have looked better had I actually thought to wash it before the show!

Besides, the truck is kinda like the owner: a little bit different, a little funky, but always there when you need it!

If he had done that, people would have used it for a garbage can.

That looks like a fun little show. Love that '56 Studebaker; you don't see many from that mid-'50s era after Packard came into the picture.

Great show and for a good cause. Your Ranger looks good but I have to agree. Clean it first. People will eventually appreciate the newer vehicles. I didn't know you could get a Ranger after about 1989 with a 2.3, or those big manual hubs either. I like it.

Mine will most likely be in the Toys for Tots show here in December. I do have a bit of work to do to highlight the fact that I painted it with a roller. Plus I've added a couple of dents along the way but not using spray paint the touch up is quite simple.

I've already removed the bug shield on the front. It makes the mirror vibrate.
