i have an 89 ford ranger with 2.9l, i took the engine out to replace all the gaskets, i am now in the process of putting the engine back in, and i have run into a problem. i cant get the driver side engine mount to line up with the bracket, i can get the threads to go through the hole but i cant get the small pin through the hole no matter how i move the engine, i cant provide pictures right now but as soon as i get the chance i will. i would really appreciate some help with this. i can get the passenger side to line up easily but no matter what i do i cannot get the driver side one on ive taken it off and compared it to the orignal to make sure it is the right mount and im sure it is.
