Thank you! I love to take mine out and sit because the bed is carpet and we installed lights. I definitely will! I don't have many distance shots since I have gotten it back from a fresh paint job but here are a couple.
that is a sweet looking first Gen. I used to live in West Frankfort (Dad and his parents are from there) when I was real little, Southern IL has some really neat stuff and history.

Im hoping by next year to be able to hit the cruise-ins again. My goal is to get my old 77 LTD II all running and cleaned up again, put it on a trailer, and cruise it to shows being towed by my 77 F250.

Stupid? Maybe. But eh.
Well you can't drive both at the same time so not really lol

Neither one are show pieces. The LTD is pretty clean but needs some upholstery work. The F250 is...well...patina'ed.

Most of them don't really get going until June around here, my club's show is in the middle of August... while it is putting a glitch in the planning hopefully we are in the clear by then.

Haha as long as you enjoy them my buddy has a 79 f150 and we hang out often his sounds about like yours. My grandpa has his original 79 F250 farm truck he bought new in 79 and completely restored it with a 460 bored to a 479.

Thats EXACTLY like the 4dr brougham i had, same color, pinstripe, everything. Except mine had wire wheel covers and a blue vinyl roof.

Oddly enough some of this 70s "junk" is becoming collectable. Probably cause the 60s stuff is so outta everyones price range nowadays.
