Greetings from Ft Bragg

Hello all; Name's Joe, I'm a paratrooper and artilleryman with 1st BCT, 82nd ABN here at Ft Bragg. I've got an 'ugly' 2000 ranger I bought second hand in from a fellow redleg in Oklahoma... she's been 'rode hard' but she starts up every morning at 5 and gets me where I need to go! (that's all a guy can really ask, huh?)

I do all the work on her myself at the on-post auto skills shop and, thank god for that place... it's my zen-like escape from all things worldly ;-]

Theses lil rangers are great trucks. I just bought a 97 myself. Had to fix a few things like new clutch and new fuel filler neck ($580 for that sucker!) but she starts every morning and drives me 300 miles 3x's a week, and gets 24mpg to boot!

a redleg huh? 13B or 13D? i was a 13D up at fort drum before reclassing to 91B wheeled vehicle mechanic. and guess what? i reclass to get away from FA, and i end up at an FA unit at fort campbell... but hey, if you wanna swap some arty stories, hit me up...
