Since I have two, can I vote gen 2 twice. The look, the styling, the dash, and the ease of upgrades. Freakin love it
Other than the ease of upgrades, all those are what ruins the 2nd gen (just my opinion).

I don'y care for the dash on the gen 1's.I've had one and just despised it. I've had 2 gen 2 b2's and 2 gen 3 rangers. Love the dash. Very simple, and its not flashy at all like someone said it was.

If I had a gen one,it would be an 84 or 85 and it would get a v-8 and round headlights.

I'm not totally against them, just like my gen 2's

gen2 dash feels cheap and plasticy too me... i almost bought a gen 2 ranger out of desperation and planned on ripping the dash and front clip off if i had bought it.

I like the first gen's. They look more like the original bronco. Just my 2 pennies. :icon_cheers:

The ONLY thing I don't like about my gen II is it would take a lot of work to add round headlights!

The interior is very comfortable n I prefer the "soccer mom" dash over the gen I. And seeing how 90%percent of the time I'm inside the truck behind the dash that weighs pretty have IMO. I only have to look at the non-round headlights when I'm walking up to it.

My .02: I love both. My B2 was a gen1, my ranger was gen2, and my explorer is gen1 (gen 2 ranger) I love the exterior on a gen 1 hands down, but love the gen2 interior. If I could have my B2 back (favorite RBV) with my explorer's interior and running gear (4.0/M5OD)... WOW :D
