Has anyone ever replaced or modified the high pressure fuel lines? What i want to do is add a second tank from a B2 on my ranger to have dual tanks and I want to relocate the filters and pump for more accessability. Would like to change them out to steel lines and a screw on sediment filter and move pump and sediment filter back on the frame rail where I can service them without cursing the engineer who thought it would be a good idea to put them between the TC and frame rail. is there any way to adapt steel lines to the nylon hoses or adapters to mount steel lines to the ford parts? Would be willing to change all components to aftermarket parts the connections at the fuel rail and tank would be the problem. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I lengthened my stock lines on my 91 to go to the back of the frame where I mounted a bronco II tank. I used another set of factory lines to lengthen them. We have the tools at the dealership to splice the plastic fuel lines together using barbed fittings and a special tool that lines up and pushes the lines together over the barb squarely.
