Hello! My name is Joseph.
I have worked on vehicles since I was a child with my father and built many cars from the ground up.
The two I am most proud of are my 83 ranger and 04 impala.
When I was 17 I worked for a farmer and noticed a ranger in his field. I asked him how much he wanted for the truck one day, his response? " If you'll use it you can have it." You could only imagine my excitement. The next day I got the truck running and drove it 50 miles home. It ran well but I didn't have the time to make it a daily driver and it needed alot of work.
About 2 years later after having moved and left the truck to sit for a while a friend called me, "hey, I have a 2004 Ford ranger I just picked up. It's totaled but it runs. Do you want it?" Thats when I had the idea, I'd gut them both and build myself an 83 fuel injected 4x4 2.5l Ranger.
I ended up trading a Mazda mx3 for it, took a week off work and spent 180 hrs, day and night gutting both and building my ranger. It turned out great. To date I have put 135k miles on it and never been disappointed. Love passing people in Ye ol' Danger Ranger lol.
