My ranger is misfiring on idle and doesn’t start right away . I got codes for cyl 6 misfire and bank 2 lean code
This is after I changed the injectors from brand new ones I got from autozone
The truck runs really good anything after idle
I unplugged every injector and they all shut the engine off or made it idle worse except cyl #6 it doesn’t make no change .

Total Lift
It's up there.
Total Drop
It's down there.
Tire Size
Round.
My credo
I poop in the furnace.
I would swap the #6 injector to another one and see if the misfire moves to that cylinder. If so, you've simply got a bad injector out of the box which is fairly common...

I put one of the old ones back in #6 & no difference

Run the engine for a few minutes and pull the #6 spark plug. If its wet with fuel then the injector is working and it must be a spark issue. If it's dry then I would suspect you broke a wire or connector terminal while changing the injectors and move on to testing that you have 12v constant at the injector plug (ground is pulsed, positive is constant).

You say the truck runs good anything after idle? My next step would be check, clean the throttle body for carbon deposit build up.
