if it's a stainless steel tip you can always just go with some stainless steel cleaner probably.


we use an aerosol can at work to shine up the ovens and various kitchen surfaces (wall protection, fridges, freezers, tables, etc), and it works like magic.


to get the exhaust residue out from the inside... maybe part cleaner? not sure what could get that out to be completely honest.

My truck doesn't have one anymore it decided to leave with my original muffler
but what are you cleaning off of it? dirt, mud, grass, or just exhaust residue? and what type of piping is the exhaust tip?

I sponge mine off when I wash the truck, then polish it with Turtle Wax wheel polish.

Make sure you don't get something that is abrasive or you will put swirls in your tip(s)

Mine are stainless Magnaflows.

I have a 300 year old bottle of Brasso that works well for such things.

an all purpose cleaner or metal polish and #000 steel wool. go with the grain though if there is any.
