Need an ECU for my 5.8/4R70W swap. The engine came with D9EL. This was from an 89 E150 with a 5.8/C6. The local wrecker has a line up of ECU's on the shelf. Unfortunately, no pick and pull here, so I must pick my application and trust the Hollanders.

What I've come up with is an ECU from a 94 F250/350 with 5.8/E4OD. It has part # F4TF-12A650-PA and code KEG0. What I can't confirm is that the application supports speed density and bank fire EFI. I strongly suspect it does, but before I spend the $100 for this no warranty part, can anyone confirm it does?

Thanks,

Dilemna resolved

KEG0 works!

Turns out all 5.8l with the exception of 96 are SD and bank fire. Got brave, installed the module that the wrecker was good enough to let me have on approval and all works. Not even a check engine light!
