I bought a MotivX oil funnel for 2.3 Ecoboost motors... and it doesn't fit. I knew that when I bought it... but also knew it could be easily modified to fit.
This funnel is great. It 1/4 turn locks in place, and the clear base lets you see what's going on.
Here's a link to the funnel on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Motivx-Tools-Engine-Funnel-Vehicles/dp/B06VY839T8?SubscriptionId=AKIAILSHYYTFIVPWUY6Q&tag=duckduckgo-d-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B06VY839T8
Here's some photo's of how it needs to be modified.
With the end sanded down I checked to see if it fit the truck. Nope. The space at the end of the funnel threads needed to be widened... Rotary rasp to the rescue.
