Hi guys, I just installed the new Dynomax cat-back
today, and the only way the muffler would mount was
opposite to the way the old one came off. (With the
center 'inlet' to the rear, and the side 'outlet' to the
front.)

Are these mufflers reversable?

Thanks,
ROE

Thanks Blackwidow, good to know they are.

Drove the Dynomax for the first time this morning,
runs and sounds great. There is definitely a performance
gain; the engine revs quicker and has a tad more power.

but it won't fit the other way? Mine you had to mount it as center as the inlet and off set as the outlet otherwise it would hit the bed...

The problem on mine was that the pipes wouldn't
align with the muffler. They aligned perfectly when
I turned the muffler around. Either way, there was
no interference with the bed.

I think Ford changed the exhaust system between
certain model years......?:icon_confused:
