Good evening all, had a question about lowering my ranger. I already have a 2/3 drop kit but my aligner is telling me I need new lower arms, and I kinda wanted to go lower anyways, so I was thinking about buying the DJM Lower Arms. My question is, is the DJM Upper Arm special at all, like is it different? The lower control arms, DJM vs Stock it looks like different, but the upper arms look the same. Or could I just get DJM lower arm and generic/OE upper arm? Thanks

The DJM upper is redesigned to allow alignment with 4" drop. It is different than stock.

Lower control arm provides the drop. Upper control arm corrects camber.

Thanks for the replies, I guess I’m just confused. The new lower control arm looks totally different, but the new upper control arm looks… the same? Is the arm length different?

The DJM uppers reposition the ball joint. It's tough to find good pictures, but these might do.
On the stock Ford part, the arms are flat and the balljoint is essentially on the same plane as the top surface of the arm, and the bushings:

The DJM uppers have some bend to them, which puts the upper balljoint at a more appropriate angle:
