So heres the low down. To start my truck has skyjacker stage 2 coils and drop brackets and Duff long arms. On the highway during a right hand turn I get alot of shaking but as soon as I straighten out it does away. I have all new brakes and wheel bearing in the front. The tires are rotated and balanced regularly. I put the truck up on my friends lift last week to see if I could find anything loose, all suspension components seem tight as well as all the ball joints and steering components. She also has all new u joints across the front and front drive shaft. I am completely baffled on this one, anyone have any ideas?

Is the shaking in the steering wheel, or the whole truck?

Do you have auto hubs or manual? If manual, are they set to free when this is happening? Are you in 4WD when this is happening, or just 2WD?

Personally my guess is a bad tie-rod end or loose steering box. Take and knock the tie rod ends out of the knuckles and check to see how loose they are, do the same with the drag link. Also check to see how much slop there is in the steering box by holding the input shaft and moving the pitman arm back and forth (there should be none). Also check the mounting bolts on the steering box to be sure they haven't backed off at all.

The truck is in 2wd and the hubs are unlocked. When I had it up one the lift everything seemed tight but will have to double check

I would take it to a shop and have them look at it. Pep Boys can do it. It will only cost like $20 for a computerized evaluation. But it sounds like you have a bad tie rod or the toe is out of alignment.

So you spent all that time and money instead of paying a shop $20 to tell you exactly whats wrong?
