axle shafts are out?

i cut the lip on the pumpkin once i pull them out the first time.....with stock radius arms the arm covers the bolthead....just whizz wheel the bolt to death....to get it out and then clearance the arm with a flapper wheel....future removals will be cake

sometimes i use a mason chisel that is 3 inches wide and bust the lip off the pumpkin that way....its risky but i have had good success with that.

I take a block of wood, set it against the edge of the spindle, and start hammering on it. Just keep working your way around until it comes off. It takes time and patience to get it loose without damaging it. I also spray PB Blaster around the edge every once in a while as I'm trying to work it loose.

If you're not making mistakes, you're not learning.
The spindle suggestions are all good ones, I second the wood block one.

The radius arm bolts will need heat, lots of it. Heat them up real good (like REAL hot) and they should come out. I broke a 1" box end on mine. I rounded it off twice and kept grinding it back down to fit the next size. Finally I asked much like you have.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
My spindles weren't difficult. But I don't live in the rust belt. Those radius arm bolts, though. Wow. The impact wrench finally got mine broke free. I think Ford used military grade Loctite and a 10ft cheater bar to install and torque those things.

I use a socket and a 5 foot pipe on a breaker bar to remove those bolts.

i took that as a spindle stud was spinning ....

or he could not get the spindle nut itself off because prongs slots were wonked
or he did not have a socket...

and wanted to pull the piglet off with the drivers side still together.

if it is all stock there is a pinch bolt that fits in a slot. but the bolt wont com out with factory setup.....it will but you have to flap wheel and opening for it. weakening the arm at a critical point.

cutting or busting the lip off the slot the pinch bolt goes in allows you to pull the piglet out with the drivers side still together....yu just have to stuff rags or something under the shaft to hold it centerish so you dont fuk the seal up upon reassembly.

the spring stud and lower bolt that hold the radius arm to the beam have low temp loctite from the factory.....with the shaft out it is easy to reach in with a propane torch to heat it up....5 min or so and they will back right out.

i just use a stout 1 1/8 socket and breaker bar with 5 foot cheater....

have not lost yet..
