Just grab a drink holder from your favorite fast food joint the 4 hole thingies( I prefer taco hell) then slide it underneath your folding armrest until only two holes are visible. The armrest keeps it from sliding around with some back support and when a hole gets wallerd out just rotate 90 degrees and raviolli(or sumthin like that) you've got a nice fresh one that grips your frosty beverage of choice til it's time to go by your favorite foodie and snag another. They even do really well with those huuuge drinks they try to give you and call em mediums since thats what they were made to hold lol. I've been doin it for years and I recommend the recycled cardboard kind over the tall weird paper ones. I only seem to replace it about once a month or more unless I forget and keep putting my coffee mug in it. And works just like all cupholders and I find myself putting a drink in one spot and my phone in another. If anybody has no idea what I'm talking about I can snag a picture in the morning and post it up here

meee too! best mod I've made to it lol. Frankly holds cup tighter than stock plastic cupholders without the rubber fingers anyway.

My credo
Fix it till its broke!
perfect and if a drink spills on it you don't clean it just replace it...in fact you can totally just stack and extra one or two under it!

only problem with stacking is it may waller out the two or three underneath at the same time but I rarely get fastfood so I haven't tried more than one at a time. Interesting idea though. Oh and an extra plus to the spillage dilemma is the recycled paperish material absorbs it so to this day I have yet to stain the material underneath.
