My credo
The perfect is the enemy of the good.
I watched the vid how to do it. In the vid, he takes the wiring off the existing buttons, leaves it, and attaches just the buttons.

The ones I got, it looks like the wiring doesn't come out. One side starts coming out, but the other side, there looks like there is a locking tab or something, but I can't move it at all.

In the vid, it looks like the wiring goes behind part of the steering wheel assembly. I think I really need to take the connectors off, otherwise in the world would I get the new buttons in there.

Kinda stuck at the moment on this. Occurred to me the trash buttons on the truck might be just as hard to get off, so will abandon this until I hear and go to next broken stuff. Thanks.
