Since we were on the topic of holsters, I just got my molded kit from Old Faithful Holster for my G20. The kydex comes molded and the clip holes are punched in the leather but that's it. So I trimmed up the kydex and drilled the holes and assembled it. I'm pretty happy with it for $40 shipped. Very comfortable and not even broke in yet. Kydex is also a healthy 0.090" thick. My only complaint with this style holster is it's pretty much impossible to put on without undoing your pants, so not really something I can wear on the way to work, leave in my vehicle then put back on in my vehicle after work. My High Noon Bare asset holster for my XDsc works much better for that, but not nearly as comfortable or stable.

Here's the XDsc holster I was talking about, it has a single wide metal clip on the other side. (I sold the AR a while ago :( )

I'm paying $16.99 a box for 50 FMJ's
Or $17.99ish for Hornady FPD's box of 20. That is the cheaper of the hollow points offered here actually...

Kimber 1911 best gun

I carry a kimber 1911 and is has bein one of the best guns i own. 1911 arent known for being very accurate at long shots but i can hit a bottle at 75 yards with 1 shot every time with it. they may be alittle expensive but u wont find a better PDW than it and the .45 ACP packs a powerful punch and would drop anyone you hit. Plus if you run out of ammo you can use the damn thing as a club!!!

i'm "hopefully" going to have my authorization to carry in a month and a half, will be carrying a revolver of some sort, most likely s&w, my guess is either a .40 or .38sp... will be for work, due to policies, the recruiter cannot tell me what they are, but when i went in for my interview, he walked me past the "gun rack" which was a steel grid type thing with pins sticking out of them, the revolvers were all locked to it by flipping out the cylinder, putting the pin, which was about 1/2" diameter roundstock, through the opening in the body of the gun, then a padlock through the end of the roundstock...

real elegant solution eh? lol

though when i was on my way out of the building, i met the location manager, didn't get a good look at what he was carrying, but it looked at first glimpse like a semi auto... he had 2 mag holders next to it on his belt, so i don't know what they carry now... i was told by the recruiter that if i want to find out what they carry, before i get hired, that i will have to run into one of the guys on the street and ask them at that time

My credo
Work hard and play harder
Who's really carrying and who's bullshitting.
Every day all day. I rotate between my Sigma 9mm, Taurus 24/7 .40 cal and my FN 5.7. Which reminds me, I need to rotate my carry guns.
