Hey all....wondering if anyone in southern IL can help me.

Basically, my left rear leaf spring shackle and bracket broke on my earlier this week; I've got the parts and hardware, but because people aren't open down here on Saturday, no shop is open. And because I'm originally from Michigan, I want to go home this weekend if at all possible.

Basically, if anyone has an angle grinder and a bumper jack or a transmission jack, and could help me out, I would be eternally grateful. Thanks.

To get a hold of me, send me a PM on here, and we can go from there if you can help me out.

First, I appreciate the responses.

However, a floor jack will not work, as it won't be able to do what I need it to. I need a trans jack or bumper jack, because I have to lift the frame a foot or so up above the axle. This is in order to let the spring sag back down in order to reconnect everything. As it stands right now, the broken shackle is sitting in between the bed and the leaf spring end.
