bumpstops for a trail rig

My bumpstops are not wore out or anything, actually I am surprised how durable they are and intact for being from 1991, but they are very solid lol.

My question is: Anyone have any recomendations for some replacement bumpstops that dont make our teeth rattle and neck snap lol. I am just looking for something to smooth out that last bit of up travel without going to some type of racing air bump seeing as this is currently a DD and a trail rig.

i think its teraflex or daystar, one of em has foam filled cannister airbump style bumpstops, they are waaay cheaper then airbumps, and get good reviews too. u have to fab up some kinda mounting plates for them, but doesnt take rocket science. or if u can swing it, buy some SAW, Fox, King airbumps...really worth the money, no harsh bottoming and u cant tell they are there

No I'm not using those last ones you have a link to but I'll tell you because of the the nature of their design they are gonna hurt your fillings and teeth just as much as stock ones.

Best bet I'd say is the Daystar foam ones or the ProComp Air ones listed here at TRS (ONLY if the price is for 2 not 1....that part I am un sure about).

Those are what I'm running on all 4 shocks (stock bumps are gone) as a temporary measure they work good.

I run the blacks, but the red ones are supposedly alot softer.

In your case running them with the stock bumps might actually be a very good setup, as the daystar bumps soak up a bump, the very last bit of travel will bottom out on the hard stock rubber bumps.
