just bought a 75 GMC Jimmy for a 100 bucks 350/th-350 4wd it runs has a new transmition and just put some 32x11.50x15s on it

i got some headers for it but i am very worried about pulling off the old ones. so far we have snapped bolts off almost everything we have tried to fix which makes me worried the same will happen with the manifolds. so what would you guys do to avoid breaking off bolts in the block?

Soak them every day for a few days with the best penetrating spray you can find (Kroil, for example). Use a good impact wrench rather than trying to break them loose by hand.

if theyre that rusted try torching or grinding off the heads of the bolts so you can slide the manifolds off and then takle the remainder of the studs with penetrating oil and prayers.
