Hey all!
Long time, not post! (probably 5-6 years!) I've been rotating through daily drivers for a while after having sold my '97 stepside 4x4 and have landed once again in a Ranger! I have been looking for a new daily for the past 3-4 months as a way to reduce debt (eliminating car loan) to be better financially prepared for when I get married this summer. Last weekend, my mom and sister were kind enough to drive to Kentucky for me to snag this absolute GEM of a truck!
A 2003 Ranger Edge 2wd 3.0L MANUAL with... just under 96,000mi!!!
I'm over the moon and I can't wait to drive it myself! (as I'm currently traveling for work so I won't see it in person for another few weeks). From all the pictures, videos, and talking with my parents, this truck is immaculate. effectively zero rust underneath, boarder-line new looking/feeling cabin, and it drives as it should!
The plan for the truck is to give it a thorough refresh (tune up, change fluids, new brakes, new shocks, etc), fix the HVAC blend door actuator, add a universal cruise control kit, undercoat it, add seat heaters, and daily drive it! I'm excited to get back in a ranger and this one is basically perfect!
