so about a week ago my gas gauge stopped working thought no big deal its just the sending unit. Today I pulled off the box and this is what I found...anyone have any suggestions I ordered a new sending unit but anyone know were I can find the wiring harness to plug into the sending unit and also any clue as to why the lines would be leaking??? guess i am just lucky the whole truck didn't go up in flames!! thanks in advance

YEP.....Looks like an Internal short did you in,it happens, especially in aged stuff ,would have the current /damaged unit checked for shorts however to verify that.....A trip to the junk yard would get you another harness (I would probably buy a new one from some place like the VERY pricey LMC trucks, for that added piece of mind ),.......What Lines are leaking?
