I havent drove my ranger in about 2 months.

Went out to start it and it would crank like crazy but not start. First thought was the IAC gummed up.

So i put my foot on the throttle a bit and it fired up but ran like shit, pig rich, missing, and would stall as soon as i let off the throttle.

Couldnt find my code reader so on a whim i put a spare MAP i had laying around on...damn thing fired right up and ran pretty good besides a miss im thinking is a fouled plug from running it 5-10 min with it flooding out.

Do a fairly new MAP fail while sitting? Ran great last time i used it

As an experiment, put the old MAP on it again and see what happens. Sometimes just disturbing the wiring connector will fix a corrosion or connection problem there.
