I really want to get a new aftermarket intake for my 95 Ranger 2.3 L. It seems that the only thing I can find is a K&N for 200 sum bucks. Do any of you have some pictures you could post to show your intake setup?

That's about the cheapest you're going to find it. But...in all, those don't do any good(waste of money). You are better off leaving the intake stock and dropping in a K&N replacement. The stock system flows more air than you truck can flow. The only two things I would do is remove the baffle inside the intake pipe(just pulls out) and change to a high flow replacement. My .02.

Many thanks Ranger44 for the tip about the baffle in the intake! Made a big difference. It's hard to believe how small the hole is in that thing compared to the rest of the pipe.

I have a MAC air intake. I think I payed 140 a couple of years ago. If I were to do it over, I would have just removed the baffle/intake muffler for less money and pretty much the same effect... or I might have gone with the K&N or Volant intake because of them being plastic to help keep a lot of the heat out of the intake air.

anyways, here's mine...

Gee, I don't know, treefiddy, I'm never against saving money but, that's a nice clean install/look.

Thank you. The fit is better and the install looks cleaner over the Civic intake I had on there before.
