95 2.3 with crank sensor swap with 92 2.3

I have a 95 truck with a 4 cyl that is blown up (this engine has a crank sensor.I also have a 1992 truck with a 4 cyl (no crank sensor of course!)is this a simple swap to convert the 92 engine to a crank sensor so I can install it in my 95? any advice is appreciated. im in the 95 too deep to purchase another engine and need to use what I have if at all possible.thanks Kerry

The 95 is quite a bit different than the 92.Are you saying you have a dist in your 92?I thought the 90 or so and up had DIS.Anyways, your 95 has a cam sensor in it also that won't be in your 92,I guess you could get one from a 94 that had one and wire it in but pretty sure the 94,s are 2 wire and the 95 is 3 wire.You can drill and tap your 92 block for the 95 crank sensor but has to be pretty percise.I think by the time you get done you will have as much money changing around as the new motor
