My crank sensor broke because the wheel that rides inside it somehow got bent up. What is that part called?
you have your crank pulley then behind that is the metal wheel then the crank sensor that the metal wheel rides in.
i cant find the name for the wheel and advance auto napa bennett or ebay has nothing, i was told tone wheel but all that pops up on ebay is rims......
would this be a junkyard part?

thanks

(i had a post on here a while back regarding this and read everyone called that wheel the tone wheel, i cannot find that piece for the life of me, as of last time i posted the truck hasn't moved.)
i got a new crank sensor, tried putting it in without the tool since i could never find it and it still made a tapping noise when it started and hit at 2 spots.
if anyone could link me to a new tone wheel id really appreciate it, i cant find the tool online for aligning the crank sensor but if anything i can adjust that.
