Has anyone swapped in a 4.0l into their ranger and successfully pulled codes? i can pull them when in KOEO, but KOER says the vehicle is not responding. Are the ECU's picky as far as an accurate 8th VIN? Im using an EZ scan scanning tool. I have an RABS and CEL light, the RABS is just wiring but I'd like to get the CEL to clear so it can run in closed loop and save my cats. Also, every so often the CEL will go off on its own, but when it does and i give it throttle it cuts out briefly, almost as if fuel is cut for a second, so the truck stumbles somewhat hard. But when the CEL is on, this problem does not occur. Any Insight will be greatly appreciated =)
