Rebuilt Engine, No Power. Just rebuilt a 2.9 with all the right stuff. New RV cam, pistons. rings, rebuilt heads, wires, cap, rotor. Took it to a shop to have them check the computer for any bad codes (None) had them set the timing. Replaced O2 sensor from Ford and FPR. Fuel Pressure is good.
Engine idles and runs smooth, when you take off and drive it runs smooth until you start requesting power. It will struggle to get up to 55. If you floor it in any gear it bogs down. Idea's??????

Have the TPS and map senors checked

double check the vacuum lines for leaks

recheck the timing?? 10deg TDC....don't for get to remove the "spout plug" for setting base timing.

if this has been sitting for extended period of time....when was the last time the fuel filter was changed?
