Hey I broke the "pop can and toothpick" style rear driveshaft on my 87... I have an 84 b2 that has a fresh drive line (orv, parked for winter) but its the slip yoke shaft with the double u joint up on the case... Can I just swap the drive lines? The 87 is my DD and snow is here And I can't run just FWD... Help is greatly appreciated

it should bolt right in. if your ORV has a lot of lift, it may bottom out the yoke and cause damage. only one way to find out, get the wrenches out and try it!

Thank you! Also, the 87 output yoke is a flat flange.. The 84 isn't... It's the double carden. Think I could get away with removing the middle peice of the double and putting a flat flange on the remaining u-joint? That way I shouldn't have to swap yokes... Right? Sorry I just don't wanna tear into everything and find out I coulda done it simple haha:icon_cheers:
