I run the 4" SuperLift on both my 84 Ranger and 94 Explorer, but you need to add some gussets to a few of the brackets. The SkyJacker kit already has them. Rancho is another good quality kit, as well as the Duff kits. I dont know that one is leaps and bounds above the other. Usually price is what drives most people.

Depending who you talk to, it's generally either Skyjacker or James Duff. Both make very well-made kits (though both [most kits, actually] leave the steering linkage a bit off-kilter and will require you make some follow-up corrections if you want to maintain good handling).
I would decide between those two based on whether it's bushings or rod ends (a.k.a. heim joints) you want on a set of extended radius arms (bushings are quieter/less maintenance, rod ends allow a little more freedom of suspension movement, though IMO this is something not likely to be noticeable from behind the wheel... I run bushings on mine and other factors that limit movement come into play long before the bushings do).

FWIW, I had a Rancho kit back in '94. All I can say is stay away... very very far away (I don't think there's ever been a kit made that's worse). This may be a moot point anyway, I don't believe Rancho has made a Ranger (RBV) lift for some time now.

Anyway, hope that helps.

Thanks for the info. We have the body off, rebuilding from frame up. So I am sure we will be looking for future info. Thanks again.

I think rancho is second worst. The worst are the kits that just used a plate to lower passenger side beam pivot. My 86 rang had it and would punch holes in the dana 35 center section. Other then that I agree will all of what 4x4junkie said.
