How hard are they to swap? Are they glue in? If I take it to a glass shop What do you think it would cost? just spider webbed it. trying to get some ideas on what to do. Do it my self or take it in. thanks hende

Should be glued in. My '86 was about $170 and replaced by a mobile glass company that changed it in my driveway. Worth every penny. Windshields suck.

Take it in. it doesn't sound like you have the tools to do it.

IMO, it's worth it to pay someone that'll back their work... b/c if you do it, and it leaks, you'll yank off your toes with rusty vicegrips b/c you're so mad trying to fix it....

i've been there. i pay someone (but I have a friend that does this for a living so... lol)

but usually, If you have to ask... defer it to someone else to do it.

Totally agree with the above. I'll try most anything myself but don't ever want to do a windshield again. It's well worth the $100 labor to have a professional do it.
