haha no that's pretty much the only bed choice for the doble cabina..Extra doors would be awesome. But not at the expense of a shorter bed, for my taste, cuz I wish the Ranger bed was a weensy bit longer, 8' vs 6'. But putting a longer bed and doble cabina would get closer to a stretch (limo) style of Ranger! Does that exist too?
Switching VIN #s is illegal, but cutting a regular cab in half and welding the back half of a crew cab on isnt illegal.I'd sneak it in somehow... Switch VIN numbers with a comparable US Ranger and if anyone asked I'd just say "it's modified."
Hence tell people "it's modified"Switching VIN #s is illegal, but cutting a regular cab in half and welding the back half of a crew cab on isnt illegal.
Once again, Ford already DID sell that here, except for the diesel part. You can argue all day whether the Sport Trac is/was a 4 door Ranger or not, but the fact is, it was a 4 door, it had the exact same size bed as the foreign 4 door Ranger, same payload as a Ranger, and same drivetrain. If they had different sheet metal Ford could've easily called it a Ranger.I never get why don't thy sale that kind of ranger here and on top of that a diesel version, i would get one in a heart beat.
At first they actually sold very well. There was a waiting list for the first year or two. But after a lack of attention (Gee doesn't that sound familiar?) Ford killed it off in 2010. Not the worst of runs. They didn't sell that well. If they did, Ford would still be making them.
Thats nice, but I dont want a 3' bed. I just want the cab to put on a stretched frame.Once again, Ford already DID sell that here, except for the diesel part.
