I have heard 2 different sides to this one on other forums. So I am asking this forum the same question. I have stock 4:10 gears, limited slip rear. Can I run 35" tires on these gears without shredding them. I was talking to a buddy of mine today about running 35's with the stock gears and he said it would not shred a thing. I have heard the opposite from other people saying 35's would kill them.
So what is the right answer? I know that if I upgrade gears, that is the safe bet. But just normal driving on 35's with stock gears? Will it hurt anything?
