I don't count birthday's anymore...just happy to be looking down at the ground instead of looking up
Have a transmission cooler being delivered today. I just need to know which line from radiator is the return line back to the trans.
99,9% that it's the lower line, but just want to be 100% sure.
2009 with 4 cyl and 5R auto trans.

I poop in the furnace.
According to the factory workshop manual, the TOP fitting on the transmission case itself is the return and the LOWER fitting on the radiator is the return.

In my opinion it really doesn't matter which line you put it on though, return line may function a tiny bit better but it's got a thermostat on it anyway so it doesn't flow below a set temp. It's just about keeping it from going too far over that set temp.

Mine is on the top line because I was too lazy to try and use the bottom line. Still works great, temp stays around 170 no matter what.

Thanks...probably go that route as top line is much easier to get to. I don't ever over load the truck, but got a killer deal on Amazon warehouse but that I couldn't pass up.
