I think I may have 3 or 4 of those plates you’re talking about… I believe the ones I have are anywhere from 1991-2009…. I’ll look

Alright, just a quick update on this thread. Firstly, big thanks to everyone that provided input and information. Thanks to @RobbieD for putting up some pictures, and thanks to @alwaysFlOoReD for the same and also sending me the plate they had.

I received the plate, and I had a chance to fit it up to the transmission. It fits, pictures below. Just a reminder, this plate is stamped with MAN (assuming for manual transmission) and the number F07E-6A373-CC, in case anyone else is looking for this same part in the future.

So here's the plate leaning up against an M5OD from a 1992 Explorer. Fits pretty much perfectly.

And here is the starter for a 1992 Explorer fitting into the starter hole in the plate, also perfect fit.

Thanks again, everyone.

My credo
Toonces drives a Ranger . . . . just not very well.
Good deal; looks like you've got exactly what you need.

Thanks for the follow up, too; now getter done!
