Happy life? Happy wife!
I have owned this truck sine 1997. The drivers side seat belt buckle internal spring broke. I need a replacement item or location or ? where I may obtain a replacement. The belt is black and the problem of using an Explorer or other belt is that it has the 90 degree gray color twisted plastic sheath on it. I have not been able to find that piece or that side of the assembly anywhere. This is the belt side that has the warning chime wire also. Any help in assisting me to find a replacement?

Many thanks in advance!!

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Have you tried LMC trucks?

And, you do realize, that if the Explorer belt will work aside from having the plastic sheath, the sheath is easily removable with a pair of snips.

The switch for the chime is just a simple reminder for people to use the seat belt. The belt and the rest of the truck will work fine without it.
