Hi my name is Devin, I'm looking to get my first truck and i am looking at ford rangers. Today i went to this used car lot and was looking at this 2009 supercab 4x4 ranger sport. And underneath i notice this part just dangling there. What is it? Is it of concern? Thank you.

that frame is freshly coated, WHY???

take a good look underneath to see what is possibly being covered up.
lower the spare tire, rust loves to hide above it.

by the way, I'm in the rust belt, so I kinda have a fear about rust.
