Will the Single DIN with the covey hole from my 97 range fit in my 2008 ranger?
And will the wiring harness I got for my 97 ranger, plug into my 08 ranger?

2 weeks in and the factory radio on this ranger is the only thing I dislike about the truck.

The radio wiring inside the harnesses are the same, except they use different connectors. Color doesn't matter, but helps you to follow. You can buy (or DIY) a simple adapter for the wiring. Otherwise, the radio swaps easily.

My 1997 vs. 2008 radio swap is shown here: http://imgur.com/a/xWGY6

Dunno about the bezel itself. You can simply pull off the bezel by hand (it is held by clips) and try a swap.

Um, OK. But what's on the back of your radio? and what radio harness exists in the dash of your truck?

It's an 08 so I assume the 16pin & 20pin connectors are on the back of the current factory radio.
The 97 wiring harness I have is for the old flat looking connectors, so it's no good for use in the 08.
